What should I do if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
In Connecticut Hall we offer Simple Zone, a pantry free of gluten, peanut, and tree-nut options. We encourage anyone with food allergies, dietary restrictions, or any other concern to contact our District Dietitian Samantha Standish, MS, RDN, CDN to schedule a one-on-one consultation so our team can work with you to ensure your needs are met.
Who is required to have a meal plan?
All residential students are required to have a meal plan and will be automatically assigned to the default meal plan for their room type. All first year students are required to maintain the Full Meal plan which offers daily meal access to Connecticut Hall as well as $150 of Food Loot to use at any of our retail locations (Adanti Student Center Food Court, Dunkin', The Owl Perch, Bagel Wagon, Roberta's).
Does my meal plan expire?
Resident meal plans expire at the end of each semester.
Commuter Meal Plans will rollover from the fall to the spring but will expire at the end of the Spring semester.
Faculty & Staff meal plans do not expire.
Food Loot will roll over from the fall to the spring but will expire at the end of the Spring semester.
What if I run out of meals?
Block plans are available for purchase at anytime. Residents can add block meals onto their existing meal plans. This will add the number of block meals purchased to the student's account. Add-ons can be purchased on this page by clicking Meal Plan Options here.
What is Food Loot?
Food Loot is money that can be spent at all on campus retail dining locations.
